Mouldings, brackets, corbels and fittings

In short
- Cut to match something already standing, from a photograph or the piece.
- Single replacements as readily as a full run.
- Repeat parts come off one program, so a batch is truly identical.
Most of this work exists to match something already standing: a run of cresting for an altar that lost a length, a bracket to complete a set, a moulding profile no shop stocks any more. Send a photograph with a scale in it, or the broken piece itself, and we cut to it.
Repeat parts are where a CNC earns its place. Twenty corbels off the machine are twenty of the same corbel, which is not something twenty hand-cut corbels can promise.

Pierced ornament panels
Two long panels cut right through, straight off the machine and before cleaning up.

Carved brackets
Cut in batches to one drawing, so a whole run of them matches.

Pierced corbels
A run of corbels stacked on the floor as they come off the bed.

Carved cresting pieces
Small cresting pieces, cut many at a time and separated by hand.

A batch of ornament
The same ornament repeated as many times as a job needs, all identical.

Carved moulding lengths
Long carved lengths laid out to check the run before they go up.

A brass-bound chest
The old Kerala chest, made new: hammered brass corners, straps and a shaped lock plate over a dark polished carcase.
Rosewood

Burl ring
One burl slab cut to a ring and filled, for a table top. The figure is the whole point, so nothing is stained over it.
Questions we are asked
Can you copy a moulding profile we cannot buy any more?
Yes. Send the broken piece, or a photograph with a scale in it, and we cut new lengths to that exact profile.
Is there a minimum order for mouldings?
No. We cut a single replacement piece as readily as a full run, though a longer run costs less per foot.
How closely will repeat parts match each other?
They are machined from one program, so every corbel or bracket in a batch is identical before hand finishing begins.
